  1. Let Jolene take him if he’s that fickle!! 😉 New subbie here, but have you listened to ‘Ring of Fire’ by Johnny Cash or Eric Clapton’s ‘Tears From Heaven’ ??

  2. I love you guys! I don’t like country but I love that you loved her! She’s a good egg….helped fund Moderna’s Covid vaccination research!

  3. You have to watch the movies 9 to 5 and The best little whorehouse in Texas with Dolly Parton. She's an actress as well. Those movies are 70's, early 80's genre of comedy. Also listen to Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, Islands in the stream. While we're on the subject, listen to some Kenny Rogers songs. Lady is a good one to start with. The gambler is another good one. My heart lies with r and b and 80's/90's early 2000's hip hop. But I grew up listening to Dolly and Kenny. Oh and Linda Ronstadt. Give Blue Bayou by her a listen.

  4. Dolly is also one of the kindest, most compassionate and generous people to ever grace the USA. All of her songs tell a story. Love you guys! ❤️💙❤️💛💫

  5. Dolly Parton is a national treasure with a natural talent and a beautiful, beneficent heart – Country music lover or not, we all love and need a little Dolly in our lives.. ❤️Jolene..

  6. Hey!
I was a player/singer in bands up until about 10 years ago. This is the first time I've ever seen one of your videos.

I'm an old (still good looking) senior citizen, so I know all the old songs, and you certainly picked a good one!

I had to stop and leave a comment to tell you guys how impressed I am that two young hip-hop guys are willing to listen and critique old classics with such an open mind!

Especially when it's songs I grew up with!

Well, I'm a believer of both of you, and I'm going to hit "Subscribe" and the "like" button, then I'm going to watch more of your videos after I leave this comment!

Hope it's songs I know, and hey! If I think of a really good song for you guys to critique, I'll suggest it to your open minds!

    You guys are great!!😊

  7. Yeah, Country Music in the 70's was all about story telling. I grew up on the stuff and loved it. When it turned into "pop country" I stopped listening to most country music. There's still some stuff I liked, but most of it was Britney Spears with a twangy guitar. Pass.

  8. One more you might want to try is Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress by the Holly s
Another one. wake Up Little Susie Everly Brothers. Crazy Little Thing called Love Huey Lewis and the News

  9. It is said that "Food is the greatest ambassador." But Music definitely fills this role. Thank you for your channel. Woke politics only divides and poisons souls with hatred, envy and resentment. Your efforts, giving honest, open and sincere reception of music made from the souls of other peoples…good medicine. Your work does more to bring people together and heal division than anything coming from the "woke" crowd. Thank You.

  10. When i was a sophomore in high school I played girl's basketball in iowa. There was a team that had a gal that was 6'4", her name was Jolene. It was 1974 this song was on every radio station. I, at 6'1" had to guard her, this song ran in my head every game we played against her and her team. She passed away of bone cancer within a year after being inducted into the Iowa Girls Basketball of Fame and six years after high school. In my world Jolene Blass of Lake View Auburn was The Jolene!

  11. She is incredible. How about checking out Elvis/RPO/burning love. You two make me laugh….both of you so cute. Oh, I am 72 so…just a compliment to your parents. lol.
