  4. Amazing, doing research for a child's book on Horses. Found , horses was here before man, roaming the Earth. And, help domesticate man, farm and heard Sheep's. Later used, as Law and order, ( likely not their choice), as Warriors. Native Indians originally was gatherers, when the horse arrieved via Spain! Native Indians could further hunt, and move about. And, yes! Too before Caucasian, themselves became Warriors. A little Horsing around for the Horses. Then, let's honor this breed, the remanants off the free roaming Horse. The Mustangs. Give them the room, retirement , they deserve, having served Mankind for Decades.😍🙏🐴🐎🐎🐎🇺🇸⏳🌅😎🇩🇰

  5. If you hear the original opening from "How the West was won" on a good sound station you know its the best Theme from all Western.
My beloved 89 yr old Dad is a huge Western Fan, esp from Wayne, Stewart, Douglas, Lancaster, Peck and Widmark, and of course Bronson but Bronson dont have much leading roles (Chato). So its great that some of his fav stars made movies together (Wayne/Stewart "Liberty Valance", " How the West was won" etc).
And of course its so great to watch these movies with him on my 69 " flat 4 K TV with good sound bar

  6. I was trying to find the song "Hoedown" for like 3 hours. Had no idea what it was called, just remembered it from various older movies and tv commercials as it was used so often. Thanks for helping put an end to my search.

  7. 1. So we start with one of the classic anti-Westerns: Hang'em High. I think it a severely underappreciated film: perhaps the best discussion of lynch law and due process I've seen on a screen, large or small.

    2. Ennio Morricone did a good job of simulating a horse's gallop in his Western scores.

  8. My thanks to whomever put this together, it is magnificent. I don't know if you missed anything because so much is here that I don't care. You have caught many that are usually not put in a program like this. I love the Remington cover and title/date stamp. Great idea. I'm doing qtrly payroll tax returns for business clients and this is playing in background; totally enjoyable.
